Dr Eifiona Thomas Lane

Eifiona is a lecturer in Geography and Environmental Planning at Bangor University. Her food related research interests are broad and acknowledge the widest value of natural and cultural heritage, working towards sustainably managing environments for improving local resilience and community well-being, whilst contributing to local food access and sovereignty as equitable development. Her research interests are diverse and involve engagement and action research collaborations with a wide range of stakeholders. She is particularly interested in working with local communities to undertake work that contributes to sustainable and resilient livelihoods with special interest on place-based knowledges and rural development.
